An information prompt method for when speech is used to adjust an air conditioner state, and an air conditioner. The method comprises: recording an air conditioner variable parameter preset by a user and a matching voice control command corresponding to the variable parameter; when the user inputs a voice control command, detecting whether a variable parameter matching the voice control command is present; if yes, adjusting an air conditioner to operate in a state of the variable parameter matching the voice control command and pushing patent information to the user, and if no, keeping the air conditioner the same. The present invention thus allows the user to adjust the air conditioner to a most comfortable state and then easily return the air conditioner to the most comfortable state even if the air conditioner is separately adjusted by someone else, and also fully protects the legal rights of the creator of the technology. |
