The invention relates to a method and to a system (10) for producing a three-dimensional semi-finished fiber product (4) reinforced by a reinforcing body (66) and/or comprising a reinforcing hollow structure (77) in a draping station (40), which as a draping tool (41) comprises at least one draping stamp (42) for a semi-finished fiber product (4) formed of fiber mats (5), and a mold shell (45) having a recess (46) for forming a free space (6) in the semi-finished fiber product (4). The method or the system is characterized in that on a surface (43) of the draping stamp (42) located opposite the recess (46), a draping segment (44) and/or a reinforcing body (66) and/or a place holder (88) for forming the hollow structure (77) in the semi-finished fiber product (4) can be temporarily arranged in a detachable manner. By introducing the reinforcing bodies (66) and/or placeholders (88) by means of draping stamps (42), further handling equipment can be advantageously dispensed with. Furthermore, by inserting the reinforcing bodies (66) and/or place holders (88) by means of the draping stamp (42), risks of damage can be avoided, since it is the same tool (41) that is responsible for the shaping of the semi-finished fiber product (4). |
