The purpose of the present invention is to appropriately position a pressing member for assisting the adjustment of the height of a seat cushion. A torsion bar (50) for assisting the adjustment of the height of a seat cushion performed by a height adjustment mechanism is housed within a hollow connection pipe (24) located between the side frames of the seat cushion. A first catch section (24a) and a second catch section (24b) are formed in the connection pipe (24), the first and second catch sections (24a, 24b) engaging one end section (51) of the torsion bar (50) in the direction in which the torsion bar (50) extends to retain the one end section (51). The first catch section (24a) engages a first latch section (51a) of the one end section (51) of the torsion bar (50) in the direction in which the torsion bar (50) extends. The second catch section (24b) engages a second latch section (51b) of the one end section (51) of the torsion bar (50) in the direction in which the torsion bar (50) extends, at the same position in the width direction of a seat as the engagement position where the first catch section (24a) and the first latch section (51a) engage, or at a position located further toward the inside than the engagement position, the second latch section (51b) being located closer to the one end section (51) of the torsion bar (50) in the direction in which the torsion bar (50) extends than the first latch section (51a). |
