This imaging unit (30) comprises: a front-group lens frame (55) that holds front-group lenses (56a); a back-group lens frame (57) that is fitted to the front-group lens frame (55) and holds back-group lenses (56b); a movable frame (65) that is arranged so as to be freely movable back and forth in a direction along an imaging optical axis (O) in the back-group lenses (56b) and that holds a movable lens (66); an adhesive (55c) that adheres the front-group lens frame (55) to the back-group lens frame (57); and an adhesive outflow preventive part (C) that prevents the adhesive (55c) from outflowing to the movable frame (65) side at the time of fitting the front-group lens frame (55) to the back-group lens frame (57) with the adhesive.
