PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility of wasting electric power in a heater.SOLUTION: A heater 10 of the present invention comprises: a ceramic body 1 having a cylinder part 11 and a lid 12 covering an opening 13 on one end side of the cylinder part 11; a heat-generating resistor 2 embedded in the cylinder part 11; and a metal cylinder 3 into which at least the one end side of the cylinder part 11 of the ceramic body 1 is inserted, and which heats a heating object with its outer peripheral surface. A surface, of the lid 12, covering the opening 13 projects from the opening 13 toward the inside of the cylinder part 11. Consequently, heat transmitted from the cylinder part 11 to the lid 12 can be more easily reserved in the lid 12. As a result, it is possible to prevent the heat from being released from the surface of the lid 12 to the outside. |
