摘要 A single cell (1) of fuel cell comprises: a solid electrolyte layer (10); an anode layer (11) that is provided with an active layer (111) laminated on a first surface of the solid electrolyte layer (10) and a diffusion layer (112) laminated on a first surface of the active layer (111), said first surface being on the reverse side of the solid electrolyte layer (10)-side surface; and a cathode layer (13) that is laminated on a second surface of the solid electrolyte layer (10) with an intermediate layer (12) being interposed therebetween. This single cell (1) is a plate-like single cell that uses the anode layer (11) as a supporting body. The cathode layer (13) is formed to have a contour smaller than the contour of the solid electrolyte layer (10). The diffusion layer (112) covers surfaces of the active layer (111) other than a second surface of the active layer (111), said second surface being in contact with the solid electrolyte layer (10). This single cell (1) of fuel cell can be suitably produced through a process wherein the active layer (111) and a lateral surface-covering part (112b), which is a part of the diffusion layer (112) covering the lateral surface of the active layer (111), are formed by a printing method.
