PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a titanium oxide dispersion as a paint for an optical digitizer or the raw material thereof, capable of facilitating uniform thin layer coating, preventing light transmission or halation from being generated, and forming a coating film easily peeled, and a method for manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: An aqueous dispersion comprises: a titanium oxide (a); a basic compound (b); a &bgr;-1, 3-1, 6 glucan (c) having 50-100% of a degree of branching of &bgr;-1, 6 coupling to &bgr;-1, 3 coupling; a polymer additive (d). The polymer additive (d) is at least one selected from a group consisting of a silicon based compound, a silicon based compound modified with polyether, a silicon based compound modified with polyester, and polyether. The titanium oxide (a) has an average particle size of 1 μm or less and preferably 500 nm or less. The basic compound (b) is at least one selected from a group consisting of alkyl amines, alkylene amines and alkanol amines. |
