PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding apparatus capable of manufacturing a cast product having excellent quality with high productivity.SOLUTION: A molding apparatus comprises a lower die unit and an upper die unit. The lower die unit includes a basin which is to be filled with a molten metal injected from an opening at an upper end, a lower die cavity formed on an upper surface of a shaping pressure pin, a plunger tip for shifting the molten metal in the basin by moving upward, and a shaping pressure pin rod for moving the shaping pressure pin upward. The upper die unit includes: an upper die insert that closes the opening at the upper end of the basin by moving downward, and includes an upper die cavity which forms a cavity in cooperation with the lower die cavity, and an upper die runner which forms a runner in cooperation with a lower die runner; and a die clamping ram provided on an upper side of the upper die insert so as to be movable upward and downward. |
