PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gimmick clock with a timepiece dial rotation mechanism in which stable engagement relationship can be obtained, dimensional control of a gear that the timepiece dial is attached to can be simplified, and manufacturing cost can be decreased.SOLUTION: A gimmick clock is provided in which a timepiece dial 2 rotates. A timepiece supporting plate 3 includes a motor unit which rotates and drives the timepiece dial 2. The timepiece dial 2 is constructed by a ring-shaped plate having notches in a center part. A ring gear 2b is arranged in a back side of the timepiece dial 2. The motor unit includes a wheel row having a driving linkage of a rotation axis of the motor. The ring gear 2b is engaged with a driving gear 4a of the wheel row. A pulley 12 supporting the ring gear 2b from the outer peripheral side is arranged at a plurality of portions in the timepiece supporting plate 3. Energizing means is arranged to press and energize the pulley 12 downward. |
