[Class 132 (ii)] Comprises a tubular shaft for a golf club having a resiliently flexible or whippy portion localized high up near, but below, the hand grip, and a relatively stiff portion, C to A, which extends from above the middle of the length of the shaft to the head and has its wall throughout of uniform greater thickness than the resiliently flexible portion. In one form the shaft is cylindrical from D to B and then tapers to the head. In a modification the top portion tapers from C to D. Specification 3288 /13, [Class 132 (ii)], is referred to.</p> |
