PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce time lag from instruction of a still image photography up to practical execution of the still image photography.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 1 includes: an imaging device 21 having a first photoelectric conversion layer in which pixels for photoelectrically converting light of a predetermined color component and transmitting light of other color components are two-dimensionally arrayed and a second photoelectric conversion layer which is laminated on the same optical path as the first photoelectric conversion layer and in which pixels for photoelectrically converting light transmitted through the first photoelectric conversion layer are two-dimensionally arrayed; and drive control means 111 for driving any one of the first photoelectric conversion layer and the second photoelectric conversion layer by a moving image mode for outputting an image signal for a moving image and driving the other photoelectric conversion layer by a still image mode for outputting an image signal for a still image. |
