PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure for laying an artificial lawn, capable of maintaining a fine grain filler of the artificial lawn in a water retention state for a long time, and capable of avoiding a state of water floating on an artificial lawn mat even in the case of excessive water spray or heavy rain.SOLUTION: An artificial lawn mat 2, which is formed in such a manner that a number of turf leaf-like bodies 22 are erected from a base cloth part 21 in which water permeable holes 21a are bored, is laid so as to be received by a base layer part 1a having a water retentive layer 11 consisting of at least a porous concrete on an upper end. A part of a fine grain filler 23 enters the water permeable holes 21a, and the fine grain filler 23 is filled in clearances between the turf leaf-like bodies 22 of the artificial lawn mat 2 so that the filler is brought into contact with the water retentive layer 11 and water retained in the water retentive layer 11 can sucked up by a meniscus effect. |
