PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly associate the image of the front face of an ID card and the image of the rear face of the ID card by simply and accurately determining that the ID card has been turned over.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus capable of selecting an operation mode for associating and outputting the first surface and the second surface of a both-side printed matter comprises an image reader and a controller. When the operation mode is selected, the controller analyzes a first image and a second image read by the image reader. Then, if both the first and second images include a specific object or if neither the first nor second image includes the specific object, the controller determines that the first and second images are not a pair of the front face image and the rear face image of both-side printed matter mentioned above. |
