PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning line adjustment mechanism, an optical scanning device and an image forming apparatus capable of smoothly changing the posture of an optical system component, and suppressing the oscillation of the optical system component.SOLUTION: A scanning line adjustment mechanism configured to change the posture of an optical system component such as a long lens unit 20 disposed on an optical path from a light source 52 to a scanning object such as a photoreceptor 41, and to adjust a scanning line to be optically scanned on the scanning object includes push members 311 and 313 for pushing the optical system component in a direction orthogonal to the posture change direction of the optical system component in the case of adjusting the scanning line.
