The invention relates to a method for producing flexible containers of the type comprising a lower base and four sides. The method comprises: supplying a web that is folded in the form of a W, defining a bottom having an inverted V shape with a central fold, as well as steps of inserting folded sheets between the facing walls of the W-shaped web, such that at least one connection portion of each folded sheet is adjacent to the facing walls and to the inverted-V-shaped bottom of the web, and connecting the folded sheets and the web in the one or more connection portions so as to define division walls on the web prior to the web being cut transversely in order to create individual containers, said cuts being spaced apart such that each container includes at least two of the division walls which form the side walls of each container.
