A coaxial cable connector (20) for coupling a coaxial cable (21) to an electronic component (27) includes a body (22), a post (31) in the body (22), and a coupling nut (25) mounted for movement on the post (31). A continuity member (35) is disposed radially between the post (31) and the coupling nut (25), and an electrical continuity (B) is established and maintained among the coupling nut (25), the continuity member (35), and the post (31). The electrical continuity (B) is maintained in a radial direction only, regardless of the tightness of the coupling nut (25) on the post (31), and regardless of compression of the continuity member (35) beyond a pre-loaded compression. |
