The menu background color processing method comprises: obtaining a gain of each primary color in a screen presently displayed on a television display; determining whether the screen presently displayed on the television display is a system desktop; and if not, calculating, according to an average of gains of all primary colors and an predefined increment, a background color gain of the menu. The method and device enhance a display effect of the display. |
