Disclosed is a display device comprising: a display panel (2) on which an image is displayed; and a bezel (7) surrounding the peripheral edge part of the display panel (2). A holding protrusion (78) provided on an inner surface of the bezel (7) comes into contact with a lateral surface (21) of the display panel (2) and holds the display panel (2), and thus, it is possible to omit members for holding the display panel (2). Thus, the space necessary in the vicinity of the lateral surface (21) of the display panel (2) is minimized, and the frame size of the bezel (7) in the display device is reduced. |
