An identification system for vertical traffic signs based on RFID technology

Technical solution relates to the labeling of vertical road signs by means of RFID transponders, which hold information about a specific traffic signs. A vehicle equipped with RFID components for reading the transponder can read the traffic signs and offers the opportunity to inform the driver about the role of specific traffic signs. Using this technology it is possible to minimize human error when driving a car and along with a support systems can offer secondary audio visual real-time information about a specific situation on the road, with the possibility of interference to the driving. After proper configuration the technical solution is able to ensure the collection of individual elements relating to road signs while driving the vehicle itself. The data obtained will provide the possibility of using information such as the informing driver with the nearest road signs through visualization on the display, which is accompanied of audio data informing about the type of traffic signs, respectively the interaction when driving car in terms of reducing the speed or stopping the vehicle.
