The present invention provides a data transmission method, device and system for a wireless local area network mesh network, and relates to the field of communications. The present invention can prevent a mesh gateway from congestion while avoiding a loop problem. The method comprises that: a first mesh station receives a first data frame sent by a second mesh station, the sender address of the first data frame being the MAC address of the second mesh station, the first mesh station belonging to a first mesh gateway, and the second mesh station belonging to the second mesh gateway; the first mesh station determines the first data frame as a broadcast data frame, a multicast frame or an unknown unicast data frame, and the first mesh station determines, on the basis of the MAC address of the second mesh station, that the first mesh station and the second mesh station belong to different mesh gateways, and the first mesh station discards the first data frame. The method is applied to a wireless mesh network that includes a plurality of mesh gateways. |
