CAPACITY ESTIMATION IN A SECONDARY BATTERY

Methods and systems are described for managing a battery system. The battery systems includes at least on battery cell and sensors configured to measure a voltage and a current of the battery cell. The method includes receiving measured voltage and current, calculating the capacity of the battery cell and regulating the charging or discharging of the battery cell based on the capacity of the battery cell.
