Application Logging Framework

The described technology relates to a logging framework wherein identifiers are associated with various elements within a web application, such as pages within the application and portions of pages within the application. Additional identifiers may be associated with sessions within the application, instances of page visits within the application, and other facets of the application and user interactions with the application. The identifiers can be used to generate a log that indicates, among other information, a history of interactions performed by a user navigating the application.

1. A client device configured to communicate identifiers in a software application framework, comprising:
a processing system having at least one processor and at least one memory, the processing system configured to:
request first data for generating an application having one or more pages in the application;obtain the first data for generating content related to the one or more pages in the application, the first data including a first set of identifiers related to the one or more pages, the first set of identifiers including at least one static identifier and at least one dynamic identifier, the at least one static identifier associated with the content related to the one or more pages and the at least one dynamic identifier related to session information associated with the application;request second data related to the application, the second request including at least one identifier from the first set of identifiers in the obtained first data;obtain the second data associated with the content related to the one or more pages; andgenerate for display a user interface containing the application having the content related to the one or more pages, at least one identifier from the first set of identifiers is embedded within the application.
