The invention relates to a guide shoe (1) for guiding an elevator car that can be moved vertically up and down and/or of a counterweight of an elevator system along a guide rail (2) that extends in the direction of movement (VR) of the elevator system, said guide shoe (1) comprising an elevator car frame (3). A caterpillar track element (5) is arranged on the elevator car frame (3) for at least one of the guide surfaces (4) of the guide rail (2), said caterpillar track element (5) having a plurality of rollers (6), a circulating belt (7) as well as two guide rollers (9) for deflecting and tensioning the caterpillar (7). The rollers (6) of the caterpillar track element (5) support the circulating belt (7) in a contact region (8) for a guide surface (4) of the guide rail (2), said contact region (8) contacting the respective guide surface (4) when in the intended state. |
