A power plug (110, 200) is provided. The power plug (110, 200) may include a plug insert (117) having a handle (113, 201), and a plug body (111, 203) including a plurality of insulation layers (205a, 205b) and a plurality of conducting strips (213a, 213b, 213c) sandwiched between the pluralities of insulation layers (205a, 205b). Each of the plurality of conducting strips (213a, 213b, 213c) may have an end extending into the handle (113, 201) and the other end forming or electrically connected to a conducting contact point (207a, 207b, 207c) exposed on a surface of the plug body (111, 203).
