Disclosed are a method and apparatus for determining brand index information about a service object. The method comprises: pre-determining an indicator for describing a brand index, the indicator comprising N hierarchies, each hierarchy comprising at least one indicator, the nth-hierarchy indicator describing by means of at least one (n+1)th-hierarchy indicator; determining the weight of each indicator; determining a statistical value of the same brand on each nth-hierarchy indicator according to historic operation records of a user, and determining a quantized value of each nth-hierarchy indicator according to the statistical value; and successively calculating layer by layer to superior indicators by means of the quantized value and weight of each nth-hierarchy indicator, and until the quantized value of each first-hierarchy indicator is calculated, determining the brand index of this brand by means of the quantized value and weight of each first-hierarchy indicator. By means of embodiments of the present application, the brand index of each brand can be more accurately described from the perspective of an e-commerce selling platform. |
