<p>Tiles and plates comprising a mixture of sawdust, blood and Portland cement are made either by saturating sawdust with blood and drying or mixing dried blood and sawdust, and adding the mixture to Portland cement, sufficient blood being then added to enable the mixture to be moulded. Fillers such as peat powder, chaff, powdered bark, charcoal, cork, or colours may be also incorporated in the mixture.</p> |
