PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for converting nitrogen dioxide, in a method of reducing nitrogen dioxide and converting the same into nitrogen monoxide, capable of nitrogen monoxide with high purity in which the content of nitrogen dioxide is reduced without using special reducing agents, and a nitrogen dioxide conversion device.SOLUTION: Provided is a method for converting nitrogen dioxide in which a raw material gas including nitrogen dioxide of 100 to 10,000 ppm and diluted with an inert gas is contacted with at least one kind of reducing agent selected from zeolite and silica gel at 50 to 200°C, thus the reduction reaction of nitrogen dioxide is progressed to generate nitrogen monoxide. |
