A test unit (1) positioned in front of lighting device, is moved along a travel axis. A light image is generated by imaging light emitting by lighting device on projector. The data that are suitable for an orientation angle between travel axis and transverse axis of motor vehicle is detected by data acquisition unit (2). The orientation angle is determined using collected data and the light image is corrected by data processing unit (6), when the orientation angle is greater than predetermined angle, so that lighting device is checked. An independent claim is included for method for testing and/or for adjusting lighting device of motor vehicle with testing device. |
