摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a condition monitoring system for an axial flow type rotary machine capable of predicting the occurrence of surging, with simple configuration.SOLUTION: The condition monitoring system for an axial flow type rotary machine includes: a dynamic pressure measuring device 11 for detecting a dynamic pressure value in a direction of an axis line O within a diffuser 6 of an axial compressor 1 and outputting a dynamic pressure signal S1 which is based on the dynamic pressure value; and a control device 12 into which the dynamic pressure signal S1 is input. The control device 12 has: a discrimination part 14 setting a predetermined threshold as a boundary and determining whether or not a value based on the dynamic pressure signal S1 changes to cross over the boundary; and a pressure ratio limiting signal generator part 15 for generating a pressure ratio limiting signal S2 for limiting a pressure ratio between an inlet pressure and an outlet pressure of the axial compressor 1 when the discrimination part 14 determines that a value based on the dynamic pressure signal S1 crosses over the boundary part.
