A vortex principle flow meter has a constriction (26) integral with the piezoelectric sensor element (32) mount (28) sealed into constriction (27) and sensor (48) holes in the flow tube (10) and carrying the sensor assembly (12) and processor (38). Independent claims are included for procedures used to make the flow meter.
