PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pit access apparatus for an elevator which can suppress horizontal swinging of a step for elevation, during an operator's elevation, about a guide rail on the other end side by fixing a backing material to the back face of the guide rail and one end side of the step for elevation to the backing material.SOLUTION: A pit access apparatus 20 includes a backing material 21 which is rectangular flat-like and is provided with a plurality of pairs of first through holes separated in the width direction with a space wider than the width of the flange part, with the pairs of the through holes separated in the longitudinal direction, arranged on the back face of a flange part so as to be located on both sides, in the width direction, of the flange, fixed to a guide rail 4 through a fastening force of a first fastening bolt 16 in a state where the flange part is held, with pressing, between a rail clip 15 and the backing material 21 and arranged in the pit 2 and a step 22 for elevation which is fixed to the backing material 21 and extends horizontally in the pit 2. |
