PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an exhaust pressure control valve that can reduce an air current sound generated steadily when the exhaust pressure control valve is driven to a valve opening side.SOLUTION: A control device for an exhaust pressure control valve includes: a diesel particulate filter 42 which is provided on an exhaust passage 41 of a diesel engine 10 and collects PM in an exhaust gas; an exhaust pressure control valve 42 which is arranged downstream from the diesel particulate filter 42 and controls an exhaust pressure; and an ECU 70 which drives the exhaust pressure control valve 43 to a valve closing side according to an operation state of the diesel engine 10. The ECU 70 controls the opening of the exhaust pressure control valve 43 to the valve opening side as the engine rotating speed is higher when driving the exhaust pressure control valve 70 to the valve closing side. |
