PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna for short-range radio communication that is easily mounted in a portable computer.SOLUTION: In an insulation substrate 301, a first coil surface 301a and a second coil surface 301b are defined with a folding line 307 as a center. On the first coil surface, a plurality of first coil sides 303a are formed in narrow pitches and on the second coil surface, a plurality of second coil sides 303b are formed in wide pitches, thereby providing an entirely loop-shaped antenna coil 303. The antenna coil is folded along the folding line 307 and a magnetic substance sheet 311 is held therebetween, thereby assembling an antenna 300. Magnetic fluxes φ1 radiated by the coil sides 303a become characteristics satisfactory for NFC and magnetic fluxes φ2 radiated by the coil sides 303b become characteristics that reduce influences upon devices of a portable computer. The antenna 300 is small-sized, such that the antenna can be integrated under a non-detection region or keys of a touch pad.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
