PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sprocket of an escalator which has a simple structure and long service life, and capable of extending service life of a resin roller used for a chain.SOLUTION: A sprocket 2 of an escalator is configured so that a thickness of a tooth tip 24 of the sprocket 2 engaging with a resin roller 32 disposed on a link part of a chain 6 is thinner than a width of an engagement face 37 which is a rotation outer peripheral face of the roller 32, and a tooth surface of a tooth bottom part 21 of the sprocket 2 facing the engagement face 37 of the roller 32 is not parallel to the engagement face 37 of the roller 32, and is engaged with a corner part 25 positioned on a surrounding of an end on the engagement face 37 of the roller 32. |
