This information processing device enables a user to easily move objects between applications simultaneously displayed on touch panels. The information processing device (100) is provided with touch panels (10, 20) on which applications (6,7) are simultaneously displayed. A touch panel coordinate management unit (50) detects that an application (7) object (4) has existed for a prescribed time in a defined area (5) of the touch panel (20) when the object (4) is being dragged. An application control unit (60) and a display control unit (70) move the display of the application (6) to a position that allows the object (4) to be dropped as a trigger for detecting the existence of the object (4) in the defined area (5).

1. A method comprising the steps of:
displaying an object on a touch panel of an information processing terminal; displaying an application at a first position of the touch panel simultaneously with the displaying of the object, the first position being a position where the object is not droppable; detecting that the object stays in a specified area on the touch panel for a predetermined period of time while the object is being dragged; and moving the application from the first position to a second position where the object is droppable, being triggered by the detection of the object staying in the specified area for the predetermined period of time.
