Disclosed are an electronic diagnosis letter-based medical institution identification method and a network hospital platform. The electronic diagnosis letter-based medical institution identification method of the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving an electronic diagnosis letter transmitted by a physician terminal; matching a corresponding medical institution information set A from a medical institution database on the basis of the degree of a disease; matching a medical institution information set B within a preset distance from the medical institution information set A on the basis of the address information for a user to make a selection; and, acquiring and determining medical institution information selected by the user from the medical institution information set B to serve as determined medical institution information meeting a requirement of the electronic diagnosis letter. Based on the electronic diagnosis letter and the network hospital platform, the present invention automatically matches medical institution information matching patient condition information on the network hospital platform via the degree of the disease in the electronic diagnosis letter and address information of a patient, completes the determination of a referral medical institution as required by the patient in a timely manner, and prevents deterioration of the disease.
