Disclosed is an audio/video jump-playing method. The method comprises: receiving a jump instruction, and obtaining a jump time point specified by the jump instruction; obtaining a subtitle timeline of current audio/video, the subtitle timeline recording start time points of lines of subtitle words in the audio/video; searching, in the jump direction specified by the jump instruction, the start time points recorded by the subtitle timeline for a start time point having a shortest interval with the specified jump time point as an actual jump time point; and jumping the current audio/video to the actual jump time point for playing. Also disclosed is an audio/video jump-playing apparatus. By means of the present application, after a playing progress of a video or audio is jumped, played video data or audio data is a start position of a line of words of the video or a line of lyrics of the audio, thereby avoiding jumping to the middle position of a line of words or a line of lyrics, so as to facilitate a user to continue to watch the video or listen to the audio. |
