This X-ray imaging apparatus is configured so that a height adjustment unit 15 transmits a command to a vertical drive unit 44 of an imaging unit 4 according to an imaging position recognized by an imaging position information recognition unit 14 of a console unit 1 and the vertical drive unit 44 is driven to adjust the height of an X-ray tube 42. If the height of the X-ray tube 42 is adjusted upwards by the height adjustment unit 15, the angle of the X-ray tube 42 is adjusted so that X-rays emitted from the X-ray tube 42 are angled downwards. If the height of the X-ray tube 42 is adjusted downwards by the height adjustment unit 15, the angle of the X-ray tube 42 is adjusted so that X-rays emitted from the X-ray tube 42 are angled upwards. |
