PURPOSE:To avoid the dispersing or sticking of the toner when the toner is supplied, by securing an automatic open/close of the opening of the toner container via the cover. CONSTITUTION:When the cover is closed completely, the container holder 8 is given an angle by the link so that the toner container 1 may be turned down obliquely at the opening part. At the same time, the protrusion of the link engages the catch 20, and the cover open/close component 18 is positioned apart from the shaft 17. Thus the container 1 is opened as shown by the broken line in the figure by the cover 21. And when the toner is supplied, the cover is opened. At the beginning of the opening of the cover, the protrusion of the link is released from the catch 20, and the component 18 shifts toward the shaft 17 by the restoring force of the spring 22. As a reslut, the cover 21 turns counterclockwise of the arrow A and as shown by the solid line in the figure to touch the mouth of the container 1. Thus the opening of the container 1 is closed. |
