Disclosed are a user equipment switching method and apparatus, which relate to the field of communications, and are used for solving the problem in the prior art that the user experience is relatively poor because of multi-stream aggregation service interruption caused due to the fact that multi-stream aggregation data transmission will not be performed in the switching process. The user equipment switching method provided in embodiments of the present invention comprises: a cellular network source access device determining that a UE is switched to a cellular network target access device, and sending a switching request message to the cellular network target access device, the switching request message comprising an identifier of the UE in a cellular network, wherein the identifier of the UE in the cellular network is used for instructing the cellular network target access device to perform multi-stream aggregation data transmission with the UE through a target logical function entity and a non-cellular network target access device. |
