receiving event information, the event information associated with a content stream provided by a content delivery network (CDN); sending a request to a player management system for a player instance to connect to the content stream using the event information, the player instance created apart from of an end user device and configured to simulate the end user device; creating an interface for the player instance to provide feedback data for the content stream; receiving the feedback data from the player instance; and adjusting a parameter of the content stream based on the feedback data.
