PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the impact absorption stroke of a steering column in a vehicle where a meter is attached to the steering column.SOLUTION: An instrument panel structure includes: a meter hood 12 disposed on a column cover 22 which covers a steering column 10 and extending from a meter 18 provided on the column cover 22 to the vehicle front side; an instrument panel 14 where an opening 24 having a size such that a front end part of the meter hood 12 may enter is provided in a portion at the vehicle front side of the meter hood 12; and a cover 16 which is provided so as to cover the opening 24. |
