The present invention relates to a manufacturing method of silodosin and a novel intermediate product thereof. More particularly, the manufacturing method in the present invention uses a novel intermediate product to manufacture high-yield and high-purity silodosin through a simple manufacturing process. Therefore, the manufacturing method in the present invention is industrially useful. The manufacturing method of the present invention comprises the steps of: a) preparing a compound represented by chemical formula 4 by desalinating a compound represented by chemical formula 5 in presence of alkaline metal hydroxide; b) preparing a compound represented by chemical formula 2 by hydrolyzing the compound represented by chemical formula 4 using alkaline metal hydroxide in presence of an oxidizing agent; c) preparing a compound represented by chemical formula 1 by making a coupling reaction of the compounds represented by chemical formula 2 and chemical formula 3 in presence of an inorganic base; and d) dissolving the compound represented by chemical formula 1 in an alcohol at an elevated temperature and precipitating crystals after seeding γ-type crystals of silodosin. |
