PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic medium and a magnetic sensor device which are capable of improving resolution of detectable movement amount.SOLUTION: A magnetic medium 10 includes a face which faces a magnetic sensor 20 and on which magnetic poles are arranged so that a direction of magnetization is alternately inverted with respect to a longitudinal direction being a direction of movement relative to the magnetic sensor 20. The magnetic medium 10 includes, on a face different from the face facing the magnetic sensor 20, a plurality of magnetization portions 12 magnetized by a magnetization head and extending in the longitudinal direction. The magnetization portions 12 are arranged in symmetry with respect to the center of the magnetic medium 10 in the width direction. |
