PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heavy apparatus installation method capable of safely installing a steam generator without occupying a large crane for a long time.SOLUTION: The heavy apparatus installation method includes: a first step for suspending an SG 15 on an installation position in a PCCV 10 by an outdoor large crane 110 and performing height adjustment of the SG 15 by jack down in support legs 40; a second step for temporarily fixing the height-adjusted SG 15 and separating the large crane 110; a third step for installing temporary lifting equipment 42 for preventing SG fall-down on an upper part of the SG 15 by utilizing a permanent structure 44; a fourth step for, while suspending the SG 15 by the temporary lifting equipment 42, horizontally moving the SG 15 to a normal position by chain blocks 41A, 41B; and a fifth step for, after installing and fixing upper and lower barrels of the SG 15 by support structures, removing the temporary lifting equipment 42. |
