PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water-containing solid matter drying device for recovering energy.SOLUTION: A water-containing solid matter drying device includes: a first screw feeder 11 for recovering a sensible heat of water and thermal medium gas, and preheating a supplied water-containing solid matter with the recovered heat; a second screw feeder 12 for recovering a latent heat of water vapor, and heating the preheated water-containing solid matter with the recovered heat so that water contained in the water-containing solid matter is vaporized to form water vapor; a third screw feeder 13 for recovering the sensible heat of the solid matter supplied from the second screw feeder 12 with the thermal medium gas, and cooling the solid matter to provide a dried matter; a first compressor 14 for applying adiabatic compression to the water vapor supplied from the second screw feeder 12 to increase the temperature; and a second compressor 15 for applying adiabatic compression to the thermal medium gas supplied from the third screw feeder 13 to increase the temperature. The temperature-increased water vapor and thermal medium gas are used as a heat source to recover the heat to the water-containing solid matter. |
