PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shift detent device for preventing occurrence of gear stopper striking sound when a sleeve is engaged with a dog clutch and a contact sound generated by adjoining a ring when the sleeve is positioned at a shift neutral position.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a shift detent device for a dog clutch mechanism comprising a lock member 62 biased against a fork shaft 40b by a biasing member and a position setting groove 60 formed in a fork shaft into which the lock member is fitted to set a sleeve 36 to a neutral position and an engagement position where the sleeve 36 is engaged with a clutch part 30a. The shift fork 40a comprises a rotation adjustment part 47 that is supported at the fork shaft in a relative rotatable manner while restricting relative motion in an axial direction and that is adjusted and rotated around the axial line under a state in which its motion in an axial line direction is allowed. The position setting grooves 60 are spiral grooves each of which is formed at the fork shaft while the sleeve corresponds to each of the neutral position and a stop position where it stops at the engagement position, respectively. |
