PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sound generator that can be made compact and lightweight, and can generate a good sound.SOLUTION: A sound generator includes a housing 20, a piezoelectric vibration section arranged in the housing 20, an exciting section 91 capable of taking a contact state coming into contact state with the piezoelectric vibration section and a non-contact state coming into non-contact therewith, and a weight for giving a load to the exciting section 91. Under a state where the load is given from the exciting section 91 in the contact state, the piezoelectric vibration section deforms in response to a sound signal, and the exciting section 91 vibrates a contact surface 150 by deformation of the piezoelectric vibration section thus generating sound from the contact surface 150. |
