The invention relates to a lighting device. In order to increase the uniformity of the lighting intensity on an entire output surface, the lighting device is provided. The lighting device comprises a housing, and a light source. The housing comprises a front side and a back side of a hollow light recovering chamber. The light recovering chamber comprises an output surface. The light source is disposed on a first horizontal side forming the light recovering chamber. The back side is inclined so that the distance between the front side and the back side is monotonely decreased from the first horizontal side to a second horizontal side. The second horizontal side is opposite to the first horizontal side. |
