摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely control a molten metal surface level in a mold.SOLUTION: A molten metal surface level in a mold of a continuous casting machine is measured to extract respective designated frequency signals of a plurality of designated frequencies in a generated frequency band of fluctuations in a bulging molten metal level from deviation signals of target values and measurement values of molten metal levels. Phases of the extracted respective designated frequency signals are each advanced by a factor of specified phase that is the sum of a phase equivalent to a waste time of nozzle opening control and 90 degrees to generate a plurality of phase advance signals. On the basis of phase advance signals having designated frequencies equal to bulging frequencies sensed from deviation signals out of the plurality of generated phase advance signals, a disturbance compensation value for fluctuations in a bulging molten metal level is calculated to sum up this calculated disturbance compensation value and a nozzle opening command value calculated on the basis of deviation signals with the result that a nozzle opening control signal including a compensation for fluctuations in a bulging molten metal level.
